The problem
Production counts at the end of a shift are reconstructed from trays and memory. A live number would let the line react.
What we built
An overhead GoPro feeds a detector that boxes each cake and a tracker that IDs it, incrementing a live “cakes count” as pieces cross the line, holding up against hands, trays and pieces that briefly touch.
The result
A running count on the line instead of a guess at the end of the day.
